Our restaurant has a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere and as well as our usual dining, we also cater for private lunches and events seating up to 45 people.
Outdoor eating is very popular at the Lion & Lamb, we have a wonderful patio area with lovely views over the Tyne Valley. With our own children's play area it is the perfect place to relax with family and enjoy al fresco dining.
Head Chef Gavin Knight runs the kitchen at the Lion & Lamb. We pride ourselves on using locally sourced ingredients where ever possible.

Monday to Saturday 12:00 noon and 2:30pm and from 6:00pm until 9:30pm.

Our varied wine list leads you through some of the most famous wine growing regions of the world.
Traditional French varieties stand side by side with emerging New World Wines, offering a chance to taste and experience styles and vintages not always available in the North.
Are you a beer lover? For you we have a wide-range of real ales available on a regular rotation. We always feature at least one local brew, whether it be from Wylam Brewery, High House Farm in Matfen or the Big Lamp Brewery in Newburn.
Come along and watch the Sunday 4.00pm match and we will provide you with a free selection of Sunday roast food. You can enjoy all major televised sporting events including Barclay's Premiership Football.
